Located on the east coast of the island, there is no better way to start the day than a sunrise stroll on one of Mauritius’s longest beaches. Close to the town of Mahébourg (worth a visit for the buzzy local markets), Belle Mare beach remains a popular choice for visitors and locals to come and relax. Approximately six miles of white sand and transparent aquamarine waters make this a perfect spot for relaxing and discovering marine life, whether you’re snorkelling, swimming or diving.
