You’ll find Gris Gris beach near Souillac, at the most southern part of the island. Unlike many of the other beaches in Mauritius, Gris Gris is not one for swimming and snorkelling, as there are strong currents and huge waves.
Instead, walk and enjoy the view of the spectacular cliffs and hear the roar of the ocean. From the beach, you can access La Roche Qui Pleure – this well-known spot is the perfect place to watch as the waves crash against the rocks.
